1. Barack Obama’s first job consisted of scooping vanilla, mint chip and rocky road into cups and cones, along with crafting sundaes and shakes at Baskin-Robbins; he also worked construction, sold island trinkets in a Hawaii gift shop during the summer after his freshman year of college and worked at a deli counter in Hawaii making sandwiches. 2. While giving a speech President Barack Obama mentioned that he and First Lady Michelle Obama did not pay off their student loans until he was 42 years old. Source

3. President Obama said, "Our first starter home was a $180,000.00 condo. That was still a good investment, and we were able to make the payments." Source
